serene escape in the heart of the city

i adored how centrally located this hotel was. exploring felt effortless as short tram rides and leisurely walks connected me to many attractions. the steam buns downstairs were a delicious discovery (i think about them often!). the inclusion of room service was a very welcome touch.
i noticed the room lacked a microwave. this was a minor inconvenience, but otherwise my experience was wonderful.

The location was fantastic. Shops and restaurants were right outside the door. The reception staff gave me good restaurant suggestions (i tried one!). The rooftop onsen was a highlight after travel.
The western breakfast options were somewhat limited.

the staff assisted with our luggage because we arrived early. the spa complex was a must i enjoyed it to the fullest it was great to have a choice of inside or outside onsen baths

the rooftop onsen was a nice plus. i also liked the location for exploring the city for a few days. we had a twin room sofa bed non-smoking. sharing the bed was okay.
the hygiene standards seemed poor. i found long hair in the bath and dust on the surface when we checked into our room. the onsen was small and crowded. another lady bumped into me.
